🏠 New Homepage

New homepage, who dis?

We updated our website with new graphics, added info about ICE Poker Flex and Tournament Mode, and simplified our messaging.

The website update is a huge win that improves our onboarding funnel and helps target new players, especially those unfamiliar with web3.

🏆 Tournament Mode Competiton: Season 2

Season 1 of our Tournament Mode competition with $28,750 in $xDG prizes has come to an end. Congrats to all the winners!

On Thursday, we kicked off Season 2 with $18,750 in $xDG prizes. Here are the two prize categories for this season:

Top 20 players with the highest win percentages and over 100 tournaments played
Top 3 players who’ve earned the most badges

📅 Tournament Event Schedule

We’re continuing our weekly Sit-n-Go tournament variations and will be rolling out more soon. Here’s the schedule for the upcoming week:

October 18 — Hyper Turbo Tuesday (1 min blinds)
October 19 — Super Shine Wednesday (9 Shine entry)

🤝 LASC Partnership

This week, we announced a Tournament wearable partnership with Lonely Alien Space Club (LASC).

The LASC community received custom ICE Poker Tournament wearables loaded with 9 Shine to instantly start playing Tournament Mode.

Lonely Alien Space Club is an Alien NFT project focused on art & creativity, community empowerment, and IP use cases.

🔎 X-VERSE Scavenger Hunt

On Monday, we teamed up with Decentraland and GITEX Global for a week-long scavenger hunt featuring NFT and wearable prizes.

Congrats to everyone who completed the scavenger hunt and claimed a limited edition X-VERSE Hoodie!

📰 Marketing Updates

On Friday, Matt (CMO) shared a marketing update on our progress and key areas of focus for the months ahead.

⌛️ MANA Rewards End

$MANA rewards for providing liquidity to the ICE-USDC pool have come to an end.

You can unstake your LP tokens and claim your MANA rewards on the DG Liquidity Rewards page.

💻 Development Focus

This week, the team is continuing work on:

ICE Poker Flex

We’re implementing game speed enhancements, All-In resolution fixes, and a new reward structure for Tournament Mode.

Additionally, we’re working on streamlining new player onboarding and adding new features such as:

Multi-table support
Email log-in/wallet creation
Leaderboard
Emoji reactions
Add Shine and buy wearables directly in Flex

Tournament Wearable Credit Card Checkout

We’re working on implementing a credit check-out option on the DG Marketplace.

Metaverse Tournament Mode

We're patching the remaining gameplay bugs to prepare for a community alpha test.

We’re working on a delegation form that can be submitted on our website instead of needing to use Discord.

Additionally, we’re making search engine optimization improvements across all our website pages.

💰 Financial

Treasury

The DG Treasury now holds $17.47M.

Revenue

Decentral Games generated $25,337.05 in revenue last week.

ICE Buy

Last Monday, we bought 1.2M $ICE from protocol revenue and deposited it to the ICE-USDC pool:

Polygon validator node rewards — 3,200 $MATIC
Secondary sale royalties — 2.6 $WETH
