📱 ICE Poker Flex Beta Tests

We held two ICE Poker Flex: Tournament Mode beta tests this week!

Beta Test #4 — Wednesday, August 31
Beta Test #5 — Friday, September 2

Both testing sessions ran from 12pm EST to 8pm EST.

The goal for these sessions was to test gameplay with a larger number of players for a longer time period. Thank you for joining, helping test the game, and providing feedback.

Miles (CEO) and Ryan (COO) have been sharing early data from these beta tests:

Each test had ~380 active players
Beta Test #4 burned 142,500 ICE
Beta Test #5 burned 155,500 ICE

We’ll be announcing the official launch date for ICE Poker Flex and Tournament wearables next week.

🐦 DG Events Twitter

Our events are rapidly growing! So we started a Twitter account specifically for event notifications.

ICE Poker was featured in an article on CoinDesk.

The article covers how ICE Poker works, highlights our amazing community, and features two community members: @EmpressRaeon and @Soiceyyy1.

The community “vibes” are part of what draw people like Raeon to the game. When she first poked around Decentraland, she didn’t really know what to do. The metaverse seemed empty. “ICE Poker is what kept me in Decentraland,” she says. “It’s what kept me engaged and kept me coming back.”

On Friday, Matt (CMO) posted a video update on our marketing progress and plans for the upcoming weeks.

This week, the team is continuing work on:

Metaverse Tournament Mode

We're patching the remaining bugs for the Metaverse gameplay to prepare for a community alpha test.

ICE Poker Flex

We held two ICE Poker Flex beta tests this week. The team is fixing bugs to prepare for the full launch.

Delegation V2

We’re continuing development for the Banked ICE Redemption Marketplace.

Treasury

The DG Treasury now holds $19.84M.

Revenue

Decentral Games generated $41,108.45 in revenue last week.

ICE Buy and Burn

Last Monday, we bought and burned 900K ICE from:

Polygon validator node rewards — 4,570 MATIC
Secondary sale royalties — 2.35 WETH

These weekly ICE burns are part of our ongoing efforts to stabilize the ICE ecosystem following passed governance proposals.

MANA Staking Rewards

MANA rewards for staking ICE are currently yielding 224% APR.
