📱 ICE Poker Flex Beta Tests

We held two ICE Poker Flex: Tournament Mode beta tests this week!

Wednesday, August 24th — 12pm EST to 4pm EST
Friday, August 26th — 12pm EST to 6pm EST

The goal for these sessions was to test the gameplay with an increasingly larger number of concurrent players — both testing sessions went great! Thank you to everyone who joined and provided feedback.

We’ll be fully launching ICE Poker Flex soon and you’ll be able to play anytime. Stay tuned for an announcement soon.

🪂 Tournament Wearable Airdrop

On Thursday, we airdropped the new Tournament wearables to our most active players.

Over 3,000 players received a visor with 9 Shine to test out Tournament Mode.

Following the full launch of ICE Poker Flex, Tournament wearables will be available on the DG Marketplace for 1000 ICE.

Tournament wearables give you access to play Tournament Mode on both platforms (ICE Poker Flex and Metaverse).

🆕 Pharaoh Wearable Collection

With the launch of Tournament Mode, we also released a new wearable collection: ICE Pharaoh.

The ICE Pharoah is an All Access wearable that gives you access to Tournament Mode and Challenge Mode on either platform (ICE Poker Flex and Metaverse).

This collection can only be earned by winning Tournament Badges and them through the Tournament Prize Marketplace.

👤 New Director of User Acquisition

Welcome the newest addition to the team: Victoria Bui (@victoriamtbui), Director of User Acquisition.

Victoria has User Acquisition and Growth Marketing experience across a wide range of verticals:

Crunchyroll Games (Anime Gaming)
Quibi (Entertainment Streaming)
GOAT (Sneaker Marketplace)

At Crunchyroll, she managed a portfolio of games that scaled up to 10M+ total downloads.

Victoria’s role is critical for our next phase of growth. She’ll be combining her prior work experience, all of which has been very community-driven, to onboard the next million users into the DG ecosystem.

🚧 Osiris Temporarily Closed

To combat collusion, we've temporarily shut down Osiris and added more tables to Stronghold.

This has been long requested by the community and it’ll make it harder for players to collude in an empty venue/server.

🏛 DG Hodler Roundtable

On Thursday, we held our DG Hodler Roundtable. Thank you to all who joined!

The DG team provided development and marketing updates, as well as answered community questions.

If you missed it, you can listen to the recorded Spaces.

These roundtable discussions will be held on the last Thursday of every month moving forward.

💻 Development Focus

This week, the team is continuing work on:

ICE Poker SNG (Tournament Mode)

We're continuing to test and fix bugs for the Metaverse gameplay to prepare for our first community alpha test.

ICE Poker Flex (Mobile)

We held two ICE Poker Flex beta tests this week. The team is fixing bugs to prepare for the full launch.

Delegation V2

We’re continuing development for the Banked ICE Redemption Marketplace.

Treasury

The DG Treasury now holds $19.61M.

Revenue

Decentral Games generated $47,299.43 in revenue last week.

ICE Buy and Burn

Last Monday, we bought and burned 1.93M ICE from:

Metaverse advertising — 14,000 USDT
Polygon validator node rewards — 4,100 MATIC
Secondary sale royalties — 2.77 WETH

These weekly ICE burns are part of our ongoing efforts to stabilize the ICE ecosystem following passed governance proposals.

MANA rewards for staking ICE are currently yielding 215% APR.
