📱 ICE Poker Flex Alpha Test

On Monday, we ran another ICE Poker Flex community alpha test.

The testing session went smooth, and we’re in the home stretch to launch.

🗓 Tournament Mode Launch Schedule

We’ll be launching Sit & Go tournaments (Tournament Mode) in 3 phases.

Phase 1: Tournament Mode on Flex — Existing owners only
Phase 2: Tournament Mode on Flex — Tournament wearables released
Phase 3: Tournament Mode on Metaverse

Phase 1: Tournament Mode on Flex — Existing owners only

We'll start rolling out Tournament Mode on ICE Poker Flex, our new mobile platform.

For this initial phase, we won't be releasing any Tournament wearables. Only existing wearable owners will be able to play. We’ll be adding 9 Shine to every wearable to let owners start testing out the new game mode.

This allows us to start testing our infrastructure to see what type of traffic we can handle, without going too big at first.

Phase 2: Tournament Mode on Flex — Tournament wearables released

After stabilizing Phase 1, we'll launch a new wearable type: Tournament wearables.

Tournament wearables will only give you access to play Tournament Mode. To learn more about the different wearable types, read our wearable types explained article.

Phase 3: Tournament Mode on Metaverse

After stabilizing Phase 2, we'll launch a new venue dedicated to Tournament Mode in Decentraland.

🎲 Dice Masters Partnership

Decentral Games is excited to partner with Dice Masters, an MMORPG in Decentraland.

In addition to giving access to ICE Poker, ICE wearables will now give you special abilities in Dice Masters.

This partnership adds new utility for ICE wearables, while supporting the growth of an emerging game and Decentraland’s economy.

As we continue to scale ICE Poker and onboard players into the Metaverse, we look forward to supporting Dice Masters and collaborating with more games to grow Decentraland together.

🎤 Messari Analyst Call

On Tuesday, Miles (CEO) and Ryan (COO) spoke with Messari to review Decentral Games’ Q2 2022 performance and roadmap.

💻 Development Focus

This week, the team is continuing work on:

ICE Poker SNG (Tournament Mode)

We're continuing to test and fix bugs for the Metaverse gameplay to prepare for our first community alpha test.

ICE Poker Flex (Mobile)

We ran an alpha test on Monday, and are now fixing bugs to prepare for the Phase 1 launch.

Delegation V2

We’re finalizing the UX on the site and beginning early work on the Banked ICE Redemption Marketplace.

💰 Financial

Treasury

The DG Treasury now holds $23.18M.

Revenue

Decentral Games generated $84,140.77 in revenue last week.

ICE Buy and Burn

Last Monday, we bought and burned 1.71M ICE from:

Metaverse advertising — 8,000 USDT
Polygon validator node rewards — 7,092 MATIC
Secondary sale royalties — 2.78 WETH

These weekly ICE burns are part of our ongoing efforts to stabilize the ICE ecosystem following passed governance proposals.

MANA rewards for staking ICE are currently yielding 228% APR.
