🏦 Runway and Treasury
Decentral Games has no exposure to LUNA or UST — all project runway is held in USDC.
We have significant runway to weather any bear market. The DG Treasury is well-capitalized and diversified across assets including:

MATIC
Decentraland LAND
LP tokens (DG-ETH, DG-MATIC, ICE-USDC)
Decentral Games was born in the 2019 bear market. We’ll keep building and delivering value to the community regardless of market conditions.
We’re in a great position to lead the next cycle of growth and innovation in blockchain gaming with our runway, well-capitalized treasury, talented team, and live product with real users.
The metaverse is the internet’s next iteration and Decentral Games will be paving the way.
🏆 New Hard Challenge
Last Friday, we implemented the new Hard Challenge.
We removed "Get a Straight, a Flush, a 3oak, and a Full House" and updated it to "Win X Amount of Hands".

🆕 Improvements and Bug Fixes
Last Thursday, we pushed a major update with several product improvements and bug fixes.
Product Improvements:
Added a message alerting users why they were banned (depending on the nature of the ban)
Increased XP earned with stacked wearables (see passed governance proposal here)
Bug Fixes:
Chip exploits that resulted in large negative balances on the leaderboard
EOD values weren’t being reset when users checked in
Chips won and challenges weren’t updating between hands
The scoreboard wasn’t updating with the user’s net chips score during gameplay
Blinds weren’t posting automatically and skipping the user who should post them
Users weren’t being kicked from the table after remaining idle
Users were being affected by multi-tabbing popups when they shouldn’t be
UI wasn’t appearing for users that join an existing game
Face Down Cards to join into the table's existing game weren’t working if the player tries to buy before the hand ends
Some users were able to play at Diamond Hands City without level 5 wearables
♣️ Chip Exploit Fix
Last Thursday’s major update resolved the majority of the different chip exploits we’ve been seeing.
We also added an automatic function that temporarily bans users who are still able to exploit chips.
For example: If a user loses more chips than they checked in with then they’ll be kicked from that table and temporarily banned until the day resets.
We’ll be closely monitoring these fixes to ensure that ICE Poker is as fair as possible.
💻 Development Focus
This week, the DG team is continuing work on:
ICE Poker SNG
We’re continuing development on the backend architecture and have begun the front-end UI for ICE Poker SNG’s check-in experience.
ICE Poker SNG is a new game mode that lets existing wearable holders compete in single table Sit-n-Go tournaments.
ICE Poker SNG delivers:
More competitive, fun, higher stakes gameplay
Massive ICE token sink for the ecosystem
Quicker path to player-ownership for skilled players
Players can burn ICE to enter SNG tournaments and compete for larger prizes such as:
ICE wearables
ICE accessories
ICE
xDG
In our Discord’s development updates channel, Leo (Head of Product) posted a great video sharing more details and giving you a sneak peek of how the experience looks and feels.
Guild Leaderboard/Leagues
We’ve completed the backend work for the guild leaderboard and it’s now going through QA testing.
Guild leaderboards and leagues will add another layer of competition and gamification to the guild owner experience.
ICE Poker Mobile
We’re continuing development on ICE Poker Mobile and will be alpha testing with community members within the next 2 weeks.
ICE Poker Mobile will enable greater accessibility and exponential scaling as we grow to millions of daily active players.
All ICE Poker Mobile mints will be entirely in ICE.
Native NFT Marketplace
We’re continuing early development of a native Decentral Games NFT Marketplace.
The marketplace will support secondary sales of wearables in ICE and marketplace fees will be used to burn ICE.
This serves as an additional ICE sink and saves hundreds of thousands of dollars from leaving the ecosystem in OpenSea fees each month.
