🚀 Q2 2022 Priorities
As Q1 comes to a close, we’re excited to align the community around our Q2 priorities where we plan to establish several strong non-emissive token sinks to boost our burn-to-earn ratio, sustainably scale and improve gameplay of ICE Poker Metaverse, and launch ICE Poker Mobile.
In the immediate future:
We will prioritize ICE mints, including our next ICE Poker Metaverse mint, The ICE Viking, in early April (following a community-submitted, passed proposal).
Upon the launch of ICE Poker Mobile, we will conduct the new ICE Poker Mobile mints in ICE at a much lower price point than Metaverse wearables to establish an accelerated path to player-ownership and solidify Metaverse Wearables as a premium product.
We believe prioritizing ICE mints will help stabilize the ICE Poker ecosystem and provide us with the necessary runway to add and solidify strong, non-emissive long-term ICE sinks.

👾 Assigned Seating
Thank you to all that assisted with assigned seating testing in Osiris and Stronghold this week. It’s been very helpful to receive and incorporate valuable feedback from the community playing with the feature in the production environment.
Last week, we extended assigned seating to All 4 ICE Poker Venues to expand our player-base for testing the new feature, but we’ve rolled it back to just 2 as we finalize a few optimizations to incorporate by early this week. Assigned seating throughout all venues is a huge step in ensuring the integrity of ICE Poker gameplay.

🚨 ICE Exploit Identification + Patch
Last Wednesday, we identified an exploit with our production database that has resulted in an exploiter being able to add unverified addresses (without owning or receiving delegation to a wearable) to the daily ICE drop.
This has resulted in 14+ days of illegitimate ICE claims which has resulted in considerable sell pressure on ICE over the past 2 weeks. Thankfully, we’ve caught this early and identified how to fortify our database security to prevent this from happening again while we continue to investigate the root source of this exploit.
A huge thank you to community members @yyy, @Nicic, and everyone else in the DG Discord that helped with identifying this issue.
💎 ICE Poker Mobile Update
We’ve added a onboarding flow featuring randomized avatar creation for first time players. We will start onboarding community members who signed up for testing starting this week.
💎 DG Team at NFT LA
The DG team sported a booth from Tuesday to Thursday and Miles spoke on a panel about the future of NFT gaming on Tuesday at NFT LA. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
💎 DG Careers
We launched the DG Careers page, where you can find all open positions at Decentral Games, as well as a link to the respective job descriptions and application portal.
As we continue to scale Decentral Games, it’s imperative that we attract top notch talent. We felt it would be great to give opportunity to folks in our community who are already familiar with our product and ecosystem.

This week, the DG team is continuing work on:
Assigned Seating/Cooldown Period
Following the deployment of optimizations we’e identified last week, we will prepare to merge assigned seating and cooldown period features to all 4 ICE Poker production venues again early this week.
Guild Leaderboard/Leagues
We are continuing work on the guild leaderboards and leagues, and will soon be accommodating custom guild uniform purchases in ICE on the ICE Accessories marketplace.
Custom NFT Emotes
We will be soon adding custom NFT emotes to the ICE Accessories marketplace mintable with ICE, and players will be able to choose which emote their avatar would use for their win animation.
Diamond Hands City
We will prepare for production deployment of Diamond Hands City, our first Diamond Hands gated ICE Poker venue where we will host exclusive tournaments available to our top player owners.
ICE Poker Mobile
We’re continuing development on ICE Poker Mobile, which will enable greater accessibility and exponential scaling as we grow to millions of daily active players. All ICE Poker Mobile mints will be entirely in ICE.
Native NFT Marketplace
We will continue early development of a native Decentral Games NFT Marketplace to support secondary sales of ICE Wearables in ICE and save hundreds of thousands of dollars from leaving the ecosystem in OpenSea fees each month.
